PUBLIC PROGRAM / FIELD DEVELOPMENT

Earth-Lightning Beacon

Natural event beacon · atmospheric sensing

The event is public. The ordering is reproducible.

Deterministic minute-level digests and field instrumentation anchored to public atmospheric events.

Field development
01 / OBJECTIVE

Build an inspectable natural-event reference surface for timing, correlation, and evidence-order experiments.

02 / APPROACH

Public GOES GLM inputs, deterministic transformations, reproducible minute digests, sensor cross-checks, and explicit non-randomness boundaries.

03 / CURRENT FOCUS

01GOES GLM

02Deterministic digests

03Event ordering

04Atmospheric arrays

04 / PUBLIC APERTURE

Public material is limited to the surface that can be stated precisely without exposing protected implementation, sensitive relationships, unfinished claims, or invention strategy.

VERIFIED RESULT

THE REPRODUCIBILITY LADDER

PROVENengineering reproducibility
  1. RUNG 1one windowdigest emitted, full manifest
  2. RUNG 2same window ×2DIGEST1 == DIGEST2, machine-compared
  3. RUNG 3five-window sweepevery window reproduces; filter fires (nonzero out-of-window drops)
  4. RUNG 4five consecutive 1-min binsadjacency exact; event-overlap 0; row-sum delta = 0
  5. RUNG 5sixty 1-min bins, both satellites60/60 reproduce per satellite; 0 overlap across 59 seams; delta = 0
CLAIM BOUNDARY

WHAT THIS DOES NOT CLAIM

Randomness quality

Untested. No NIST SP 800-22, no Dieharder run. No claim the stream is statistically random.

Unpredictability

Defeated by a known adversary. A GRB-downlink-equipped observer can reconstruct events before the public path publishes them. No VDF deployed, therefore no front-running resistance.

Production readiness

Not claimed. A single-shot reproducible pipeline with a manifest, not a service.

Coverage

Western-Hemisphere geostationary only. No global coverage, no GPS replacement, no sub-second settlement, no combined-satellite digest. Each satellite is validated independently.

The boundary is the product. A bounded claim can be audited. An unbounded one can only be admired or dismissed.
